The History
Every building has a story, but 1564 Main Street has a whole book of ’em. Long before it was the Pittstop Pub, this spot was the heart of the community as Dube’s Pittstop—and way back before that, Young’s Garage.
For years, Dube’s was the ultimate North Country landmark. It was the place you pulled into for a warm breakfast, homemade pastries, and that famous cinnamon swirl toast. It’s where generations of locals grew up working behind the counter, where birthdays were celebrated with giant cakes, and where snowmobilers and travelers could always count on a warm welcome (and maybe a deer sighting on the trail right outside!).
We are so incredibly proud to inherit this space and carry the torch. The names on the sign might change over the decades, but the spirit of this building stays exactly the same: a gathering place for good food, great neighbors, and unforgettable memories.
